Drawing on results from Trellis’ Community College Transportation Project, this toolkit provides practical guidance to help community college stakeholders better understand transportation access on their campus. The main document outlines the most impactful research findings from the project, ending with a short Self-Assessment Guide to quickly identify a top priority for transportation access at your institution. The accompanying Taskforce Resources provide structure for a campus working group to evaluate existing resources and develop targeted improvements. By improving transportation security for students, whether through small administrative changes or long-term investments in community projects, community colleges can grow their enrollment and improve retention and completion.
